9 Million Views and Counting: How One Video Went Viral

Producing and directing team Glenn and Debbie Dreher, owners of Baltimore-based Think Again Media (and friends of JD/PR), recently watched their short PSA about shelter dog Suzie grow by the thousands each day. In just a month, after several shelters across the U.S. posted the video onto their Facebook pages and people shared it with their networks, the video, through a number of outlets, had received more than nine-million views, spreading awareness and increasing adoptions.

The duo, owners of four dogs, three of which are rescues, have long desired to combine their skills in filmmaking with their passion to help homeless pets and have set up Save A Hound to further their mission.

Keep that in mind the next time you’re asked to make the corporate video “go viral.”
