Jeffrey Davis to Lead National Press Club’s “Meet the Media” Series
WASHINGTON, DC — Public relations professional Jeffrey Davis has been appointed chair of the National Press Club’s prestigious “Meet the Media” series, a cornerstone initiative of the Club’s Communicators Team that connect journalists with public relations professionals.
The “Meet the Media” series aims to strengthen ties between newsmakers and journalists through direct dialogue at a time when credible communication channels are crucial.
Through forums, panels, and networking events, the series offers communications professionals direct insight into newsroom operations and editorial decisions. These sessions serve as professional development for PR practitioners while helping journalists expand their source networks.
The series is part of the Club’s broader Communicators Team, whose members advance journalism and defend press freedom through programming that builds community among current and future Club members.
“I’m honored to lead this program bridging media and communications professionals,” said Davis. “As digital transformation reshapes news consumption, connecting journalists and PR professionals in this highly fragmented media market is vital for effective public communication.”
